The life of the church extends beyond gathered worship. We seek to share our lives as those joined together in Christ, through friendship, hospitality, prayer, study, meals, and ordinary time together across generations.

Ways We Gather
Third Friday →
On the third Friday of every month, the whole church gathers for a gourmet dinner. Pastor Zach prepares the meal, with menus ranging from wood-fired pizza and regional Italian dishes to Thai food, empanadas, Szechuan cuisine, and our annual chili cook-off. Children, friends, and visitors are always welcome. Appetite required. Learn More →
Bible Study
On the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, we meet from 6:30–8:00 p.m. to study Scripture together. We are currently working through Galatians, with pastoral teaching, open discussion, questions, and prayer. All ages are welcome, and children are free to play in the adjoining playroom while we meet.
Game Night
On the first Friday of the month, families and friends gather for pizza and games. The tables might have anything from Uno and Flip 7 to Catan, Splendor, and social deduction games, while the kids often migrate between games, the playroom, and Mario Kart. Come for part of the evening or stay as long as you like.
Men’s Fellowship
Once a month, the men of the church get together for an unhurried evening of conversation and fellowship. There is no formal program, just time to catch up, talk, laugh, and enjoy being together. All adult men are welcome.
Women’s Small Group
On the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, the women of the church gather for conversation and prayer. The time is intentionally simple: sharing what is going on in one another’s lives, listening well, encouraging one another, and praying together.
Youth Gatherings
From time to time, our middle school and high school age students get together for outings, parties, and other informal gatherings. These are opportunities to build friendships, grow together as part of the church, and discuss the Bible along the way. Friends are always welcome.
Our gatherings outside the Lord’s Day are ordinarily hosted in the homes of pastors and members around Escondido. Visitors are always welcome. Contact us for the address or other details.
